Writing + Comic Book Stuff

In what will be a surprise to absolutely no one, I'm writing in fandoms I haven't played in before. Well, that's not totally true. I've written one Mag 7 (tv) double drabble (Vin/Ezra), but now I'm writing a character piece on Ezra, mostly due to the rage found here. He and Josiah are talking, quoting the book of Ruth, and Ezra is, generally, dispelling all the fandom rumors of his absolutely awful childhood. I know it was no picnic, but I still don't think Maude is so uncaring about him that she'd leave him in one abusive situation after the other (as a lot of writers paint the story).
So, yes, I'm writing Mag 7 (do contact me if you wanna beta it; I'd love you to bits). And I started a Man from UNCLE story during class tonight. That high-pitched scream you heard was--I assume--lasergirl cheering in glee. It's all her fault, anyway.
I've still got a pile of WIPs (don't look at them!), but we won't talk about those, yes?

So, our tax return this year was good. The Husband bought a stack of video games, and I'm getting the following comics:
Welcome to Tranquility, 1-12
Chew, 1-15
Invincible, trades 1-4
Powers, 1-14
Ultimate Iron Man, 1-5 and 1-5 (two minis)
X-Force (Yost), 1-6
I'm getting them all on my iPad because I am, a) out of space and b)a heretic.
What are you writing/reading/using to ignore homework, flist?
