perpetual_motion14,000+. I would like to upgrade the story from "Poor Neville" to "Oh, Neville". I think most of the whumping is over. Now is the time for fluffy bunnies. Or whatever the equivalent when Snape is involved.
Also, writing Snape treating Neville as an adult he respects is weird. There's still snark, and Snape isn't taking shit, but writing grown-up, badass Neville talking to mostly-respectful Snape is a weird animal, you know?
