There are explanations for all these things. Really, really good explanations. With a touch of classic "Trek" to make it really cool. And, yes, there's kissing, and Spock isn't quite the classic Spock we know, but, again, it is explained. And really well, I think. There had to be a time when Spock as we know him grew into the Spock we know, you know?
