A little L&O love for you

The Husband just got back from the gym.

HIM: "I found "Law & Order" on."
ME: "TNT?"
HIM: "Yeah. I really like Jack as DA. I mean, he's good as...DA...what is his title?"
ME: "He was EDA, and now he's DADA."
[beat]
HIM: "He's DADA?"
ME: "Yes."
HIM: "So he's teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts?"
ME: "Sure."

Also, the conversation reminded me that I owe you lot the rest of last season's post-ep scenes. Will post at least one shortly. And, no, I still haven't finished last season. I am a bum.

Random lurky comment...happened over here from [livejournal.com profile] fearciuil's journal and started browsing...HAD to comment...someone on my f-list just remarked that the SVU ADAs (Lahti's ADA Paxton just got canned after 4 eps) are just like the DADA teachers in HP. (So far it's been Abbie, random extras, Cabot, Novak, Greylek, Cabot, Paxton, and now Cabot again, and they all keep leaving lately for bad reasons...)

I saw a recent SVU with Cabot and wondered how they'd worked her back in. Talk about wonky cast changes. L&O is usually so smooth about them.

I've watched this entire season of SVU and I still haven't figured out why Cabot was in Appeals while Paxton was there and why she came back to SVU from Appeals...something about Albany and training and...then I realized I didn't really care.
