The MASH fic, which was supposed to be a two-page quick type, at best has made it to 2600 words, page seven, and wonderful encouragement from distaff_exile. I'm quite liking it, as I set it way in the future so I didn't have to deal with Hawk's immediate mind-fuckery after the war [although I realized it's now set during the Vietnam war, which is being mentioned in passing].

I was watching some of the latter episodes from NCIS season 3 last night and have the nugget of a Gibbs/DiNozzo post-"Bait" fic in my head [the one with the kid planning to blow up the school]. It was incredibly hot to see Tony acting like a man who could run a team, given the end of season 3 [which I still haven't watched]. And I really do love Ziva because she doesn't take shit from Tony and is so genuinely nice to McGee. The director can still suck it. For every scene where she's actually exerting authority and trying to work on a professional level with Gibbs, there's a scene where she's all, "Oh, I'm a girl, and you have boy parts, and I'm gonna swoon", and if I have to list the reasons why that bothers me, you obviously haven't been paying attention.

So I'm gonna dive into the MASH fic again, as distaff_exile [who is made of awesome] has helped me find a direction, and see if I can't knock it out of the park by the end of the day. And then we'll see about NCIS porn.
